A 32-team, NFL-style Madden tournament for utility operators, engineers, contractors and vendors across Georgia. Every dollar raised funds travel for Georgia's Top Ops champions to compete at the AWWA Annual Conference & Exposition.
AWWA's Top Ops competition is a fast-paced, quiz-bowl style contest where three-person teams of water operators answer questions on treatment, distribution, math, safety and regulations. Georgia's section champion earns the right to represent us at AWWA ACE — but travel isn't free. The Madden Tournament exists to recognize the operators who run our water systems every day and to make sure the winning team gets to compete on the national stage.
